CBGA & CBDA: Hemp-Derived Support for Everyday Wellness

Science around hemp-derived cannabinoids continues to grow, especially when it comes to CBGA and CBDA. A laboratory study published in January 2022 by Oregon State University, in collaboration with Arizona State University, found that these acidic cannabinoids were able to bind to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in in-vitro conditions. This binding action prevented the virus from entering human epithelial cells in the lab setting. Read the study here.

These findings sparked interest in how CBGA and CBDA might one day contribute to broader wellness research. While more work needs to be done — including clinical human studies — many people appreciate these cannabinoids for their natural, plant-based properties.

Our NOVID Viral Guard formula brings together targeted CBGA and CBDA extracts in a simple, easy-to-take option designed to complement your everyday wellness routine. It is not a replacement for medical care, vaccination, or public health guidance, but rather a thoughtful way to explore the potential of these hemp-derived compounds.

†This information is based on laboratory (in-vitro) research only. Clinical studies in humans are still needed. NOVID Viral Guard is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, including COVID-19. Always follow public health recommendations and consult a healthcare professional with any questions.
